Frequently Asked Questions

Do you impose any limits on the number of barcode scans?

No, we do not limit the number of times that a barcode can be scanned. We don't track barcode scans.

Do you offer a one-time payment option?

If you only need access for a short period of time, you can purchase Individual Plan for one month or a year and immediately cancel the subscription to avoid any further recurring charges. You will retain access to Individual Plan functionality for the remainder of the period that you purchased (one month or year).

After that expires, you will lose access to the Individual Plan features of the Barcode Generator app and you'll need to purchase access again. However as long as you cancel via the Gumroad portal, you will not be charged again unless you explicitly choose to renew.

Do the barcodes expire if my license lapses?

You do not need an active license to use previously generated barcodes that you have downloaded or stored. However, we suggest making a backup of barcodes before ending your license as Airtable only temporarily cache attachments.

If cached barcodes expire, you will need an active license to generate a barcode again if you utilised any paid features such as custom logos and watermark removal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can easily cancel your subscription at anytime via the self-service portal. The portal is provided by our payment partner Gumroad.

Can you generate a tax invoice for me?

Can I use this for commercial purposes?

Yes! However, we suggest not using this service for personally identifiable or sensitive information.

How do I find my license key?

After purchasing your subscription to Barcode Generator, an email will be sent to you containing your receipt and license key. If you don't receive this email, you can also view your license key here.

How will this transaction appear on my credit card statement?

The transaction will be listed with a transaction identifier starting with GUM.CO/CC.
