We’re excited to announce that Barcode Generator is now available on the Google Workspace Marketplace. You can now generate barcodes directly inside Google Sheets™ and Google Slides™ — no exports, no third-party tools, no switching between apps.
What you can do
With the Barcode Generator add-on for Google Workspace, you can:
- Generate barcodes from your spreadsheet data — select a cell or column in Google Sheets and create barcodes from the values directly.
- Insert barcodes into presentations — add barcode images to Google Slides for product catalogues, event materials, internal docs and more.
- Choose your symbology — supports Code 128, UPC-A, EAN-13, Code 39, and other popular barcode formats.
- Customise colours — set foreground and background colours to match your brand.
Who is this for?
The Google Workspace add-on is a great fit if your team works primarily in Google Sheets for inventory tracking, product management, or any workflow where you need to generate barcodes alongside your data. It’s also useful for anyone creating presentations or documents in Google Slides who needs to embed barcodes without leaving the app.
How to get started
Install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Once installed, the Barcode Generator panel will appear in the sidebar of Google Sheets and Google Slides.
